Full title: EXTREME BUCCANEER BROADSIDE BATTLE ON THE HIGH SEAS 2008!

Controls are all in-game, and will make more sense if you read them there.

this game was essentially finished in less than a week for the maxgames contest. I had about half the art done, with 6 days left, when my previous programmer had to quit. Luckily for me, BoMToons [link] stepped in to do it. We've both worked incredibly hard this past week to finish this game, and while it's not perfect, and not what I was originally planning, it's still probably my best game so far. I hope you enjoy it :)

Waaaaaay to laggy in the ship part (and the octopus part) I liked it tho but fixing the lag would be nice :)

very nice artwork, though my only complaint is that the cannon is too fast and I don't know if it is intentional but you can slide while using the cannon. Pressing q lowers the quality and fixes the lag a little.

Is it normal that after a while, the cannons end up shooting so fast that you can't even get up anymore?

Okay it's actually no problem once you got the game properly...

But still it feels unfair for the player to die in what might seem to be a bug...
Maybe making the player's ship sink after too much time would be more elegant?

Great game overall.

ooo awsome work man the only thing which bugged me slightly is the getting iup pace lol but tat didnt really get in the way of mad pirate fun XD
